Incheon Airport To Seoul: Train, Bus & Taxi Guide (2026)

Just landed at Incheon? Here’s how to get from the airport into Seoul by AREX train, airport limousine bus or taxi, with fares and times from the operators themselves (checked October 2026), plus a route finder for your area.

I usually take the AREX Express into Seoul: it’s non-stop, so it’s quick and predictable, and it’s the easiest way I’ve found with luggage.

Route Guides By Area

By Train: AREX

All-Stop Train

The AREX All-Stop train stops at every station between the airport and Seoul Station, including Gimpo Airport and Hongik Univ. It costs ₩4,750 from Terminal 1 (about 60 minutes) and ₩5,350 from Terminal 2 (about 67 minutes) to Seoul Station, and ₩4,650 or ₩5,250 to Hongik Univ. Fares are for a transport card such as T-money. A single-use ticket costs ₩100 more, plus a ₩500 deposit that you get back at your arrival station (AREX fares).

The first All-Stop train leaves Terminal 2 at 05:08 and Terminal 1 at 05:14. The last one that runs all the way to Seoul Station, via Hongik Univ., leaves Terminal 2 at 23:32 and Terminal 1 at 23:38. A later train (23:50 from Terminal 2, 23:56 from Terminal 1) only goes as far as Digital Media City. Times are the same on weekdays and holidays (AREX’s timetable).

Express Train

The AREX Express costs ₩13,000 for adults and ₩9,500 for children, and runs non-stop to Seoul Station in about 43 minutes from Terminal 1 and 51 minutes from Terminal 2 (AREX Express). Some guides quote ₩9,500 as the adult fare: that’s the child fare. The first Express leaves Terminal 2 at 05:16 and Terminal 1 at 05:24, and the last at 22:40 and 22:48 (AREX’s timetable). It only goes to Seoul Station.

By Airport Limousine Bus

Airport limousine buses run from the airport to hotels and stations across Seoul. Airport Limousine’s direct downtown routes cost ₩17,000 for adults and ₩12,000 for children aged 6 to 12 (fares). Each area guide above lists the routes, platforms and hours for that area.

By Taxi

Taxis wait at the 1F arrival halls of both terminals. Standard taxis from Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon start at ₩4,800 on the meter. Seoul and Incheon taxis add 20% between 22:00 and 23:00 and between 02:00 and 04:00, and 40% between 23:00 and 02:00. International Taxis have foreign-language support, are for foreign nationals only and charge a flat fare to Seoul (Incheon Airport).

Arriving Late At Night

The last All-Stop train to Seoul Station leaves Terminal 2 at 23:32 and Terminal 1 at 23:38; a later one (23:50 / 23:56) only goes as far as Digital Media City. After that, night buses such as the N6002 to Hongdae leave Terminal 1 from midnight (Incheon Airport), or take a taxi.
