Incheon Airport To Myeongdong: Train, Bus & Taxi (2026)

Landing at Incheon and heading to Myeongdong? Here’s every way to get there: the AREX airport train, the airport limousine bus and taxis, with fares and times from the operators themselves (checked October 2026).

For Myeongdong, I take the AREX Express to Seoul Station: it’s quick and predictable, and easy with luggage.

All-Stop Train

Take the AREX All-Stop train to Seoul Station: ₩4,750 from Terminal 1 (about 60 minutes) and ₩5,350 from Terminal 2 (about 67 minutes) to Seoul Station. Fares are for a transport card such as T-money. A single-use ticket costs ₩100 more, plus a ₩500 deposit that you get back at your arrival station (AREX fares).

The first All-Stop train leaves Terminal 2 at 05:08 and Terminal 1 at 05:14. The last one that runs all the way to Seoul Station, via Hongik Univ., leaves Terminal 2 at 23:32 and Terminal 1 at 23:38. A later train (23:50 from Terminal 2, 23:56 from Terminal 1) only goes as far as Digital Media City. Times are the same on weekdays and holidays (AREX’s timetable).

Express Train

The AREX Express costs ₩13,000 for adults and ₩9,500 for children, and runs non-stop to Seoul Station in about 43 minutes from Terminal 1 and 51 minutes from Terminal 2 (AREX Express). Some guides quote ₩9,500 as the adult fare: that’s the child fare. The first Express leaves Terminal 2 at 05:16 and Terminal 1 at 05:24, and the last at 22:40 and 22:48 (AREX’s timetable).

From Seoul Station, I change to subway Line 4 for Myeongdong Station.
